THE HARVEST HOUSE AT LOST CREEK WINERY

The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery is located just 10 minutes outside of historic Leesburg in Northern Virginia and offers unique benefits compared to other vineyards or wineries in the area.

ALL INCLUSIVE Packages

The Harvest House is an all inclusive venue with amenities that will meet every need on your special day. Our packages include the venue, the furniture, in-house catering and ceremony services.

  • White ceremony chairs, walnut Chivari chairs and 5.5 foot round tables for up to 175 guests.
  • Wine barrel buffet table and wedding cake display, plus two wine barrels for ceremony accents.
  • Pricing includes up to five hours of access to the Harvest House for ceremony and reception.
  • Bridal Suite and Groom's Quarters access up to two hours prior to the ceremony.
  • Multiple in-house catering options provided by Celebrations Catering.
  • Thirty minute rehearsal the day prior to the wedding, conducted by our Event Facilitator.
  • Planning meeting with your Event Facilitator 30 days prior to the wedding.

CEREMONY SETTINGS

We offer multiple ceremony locations at The Harvest House, including the Vineyard, the Veranda, and the Manor Lawn. We provide everything you need for each location including 175 white chairs, an arbor (vineyard location only), and two wine barrels.

COCKTAIL HOUR AND RECEPTION

The Harvest House and Stone Terrace are a perfect indoor and outdoor combination for your cocktail reception and the Carriage House, adjacent to the Harvest House, is a beautiful reception hall with an expansive woodland lawn area.

THE HARVEST HOUSE

Enjoy your cocktail reception inside the 5,500 square foot Harvest House, which includes multiple parlors and bars on the main floor for your guests to socialize during cocktail hour. The great room boasts a floor to ceiling stone fireplace.

STONE TERRACE AND BAR

The Harvest House flows through white french doors at the back of the house and onto the outdoor Stone Terrace. The Stone Terrace is a 1,000 square-foot outdoor flagstone patio equipped with a large outdoor bar and lighted pergola.

THE CARRIAGE HOUSE

The Carriage House offers 3,200 square feet of event space able to accommodate up to 175 guests for dinner and dancing. The Carriage House features an outdoor patio offering a countryside setting with access to fire pits. 


BRIDE AND GROOM SUITES

The Harvest House offers a Bridal Suite and Gentleman's Quarters for you to prepare for your big day. Our standard package provides access to our suites two hours before the ceremony. We also have 'early access' packages available if interested.

LUXURY BRIDAL SUITE

The expansive bridal suite is located on the second level of The Harvest House and offers the bride and her bridesmaids a spacious, lavishly furnished elegant space to prepare for their special day with an integrated bathroom suite.

GROOM'S QUARTERS

A special space for the groom and his friends is also offered on the second level of the Harvest House. A sophisticated space that lends to the perfect retreat for the gentlemen to relax before the ceremony. 

WEDDING COLLECTIONS

Take a look at our unique offerings for every season or size of occasion. We offer several collections to make your wedding special and create a unique experience for your guests. Interested in a small intimate gathering for up to 10 guests? We can create special vineyard ceremony or elopement packages to meet your needs.

Winter Weddings

We offer a winter wedding package for the months of December through March. A hot cider and cocoa bar or toasty s'mores station to be enjoyed out at the fire pits or by the warm fireplace is a perfect way for your guests to enjoy a winter experience.

Brunch Weddings

We offer a lovely Sunday brunch package. Guests can enjoy sparkling wine upon arrival in the vineyard, Mimosa's on the Stone Terrace and gourmet brunch options from our customized Embassy and Farmer's Brunch buffets.

Weekday Weddings

Our weekday weddings are offered Monday through Thursday and are an intimate option for up to 20 guests. We offer several options such as wine tastings, seated lunch or wine and food pairing experiences for your guests to enjoy.

WEDDING FAQ

Interested in learning more about weddings at The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery? Here are some frequently asked questions that should help.

  1. When may I visit the Harvest House? Tours are conducted by appointment only. Request a Tour! Tours are available throughout the week depending on availability and our private event schedule.
  2. What is your policy about catering? Lost Creek strives to provide the best quality and service possible, therefore we partner with Celebrations Catering for all events at The Harvest House. Celebrations Catering will be happy to customize a menu to meet the needs of your event. 
  3. Am I required to use other Lost Creek recommended vendors? You are not required to use vendors from our recommended list. However, these are businesses that have consistently provided excellent quality and service at The Harvest House at Lost Creek Winery events. We highly recommend specific vendors we know will help create the best event possible for you.
  4. What time can my vendors arrive on the day of the event? Vendors can access the venue two hours prior to the event.
  5. May I bring a pet to the wedding? We are a pet friendly venue and are happy to allow your pet onto the property. We do ask that animals remain crated or on a leash at all times while on the property. Pets are not allowed inside The Carriage House or The Harvest House.
  6. Can I arrive at the Bridal Suite at an earlier time ? If the bridal suite is available for additional time on your wedding day, we are more than happy to allow you to increase your time. The additional hourly rate is $200 per hour.
  7. Can I extend my event by adding a few hours?  The Loudoun County noise ordinance is in effect beginning at 11 p.m., therefore we do not allow events to go beyond this time. 
  8. Can you accommodate buses, shuttles and limos? Yes, we can definitely accommodate buses, shuttles and limos. The Harvest House property has a circular driveway that allows for easy access for vehicles of all sizes.
  9. Is there enough parking to accommodate all of our guests? We have ample parking on Lost Creek's 50 acres to accommodate an event of any size.
  10. Is it possible to have a small wine tasting at the ceremony site for my guests? We do have an option for a wine tasting at the ceremony site. There is an additional $200 fee for this service.
  11. What amenities are included in the rental rate? The rental fee includes 4 or 5 hours of venue time, 175 white ceremony chairs, 175 walnut chivari chairs, 5.5 foot round tables that seat up to 175 guests and access to our luxury bridal and groom suites.
  12. Is gratuity included in the final bill? Gratuity is not included in the venue or catering fees.
  13. Are there any cake cutting or re-corkage fees? There are no fees for these additional services.
  14. Is liability Insurance required? We do not require liability insurance for your event.
  15. Are there any restrictions on candle use? Candles are allowed, but must be enclosed in a glass jar or container, as no open flames are allowed on the property. We also allow sparklers in certain areas, but we do NOT allow fireworks or luminary lanterns.
  16. What options do my guests have for hotels or other types of lodging? We are conveniently located just 10 minutes from historic Leesburg, VA, where there are several resorts, hotels, B&B and dining options. Please check out our local accommodations here!
